The rescue cloths are made with a fire-retardant fabric.
This Retmex features as many as 12 carrying handles, allowing you to operate it with multiple people.
The carrying handles are equipped with PVC grips.
A foot pocket on this lifter provides extra stability during transfer.
The comfort model comes standard in a compact carrying bag.
The material is water-repellent so you can clean it quickly and easily.
You cannot clean these rescue cloths with a pressure washer.
You cannot use this rescue cloth with patients with back or neck injuries.

Ready for rough terrains

With 12 secure carrying handles, multiple rescue responders can effortlessly balance and carry a patient from the scene quickly. The patient’s weight is evenly distributed across the sheet allowing for minimal disruption even over rough terrain.

Can also be used by 1 person in real emergencies

There’s always a chance that you need to use the Retmex by yourself if there’s no one around to assist you. Webbing placed on the body zone makes sure that you can also use the Retmex Rescue Sheet for sliding when additional help isn’t available.

Washing instructions

By hand: The Retmex can be cleaned with a disinfection spray and wipe. Always allow it to dry after manual cleaning to prevent odours.

It is recommended to wear gloves during cleaning (household gloves or disposable gloves).

DO NOT USE HIGH PRESSURE WATER FOR CLEANING!

In the washing machine:
Washing temperature: 60 degrees (Celsius),
dry at a low temperature, do not iron, do not dry clean, do not bleach, do not use washing powder with fabric softener.

Who's using the Retmex?

With how many people do you use the Retmex?

You normally operate a rescue sheet with 4 people. The weight of the victim will determine how many hands are needed to transfer the victim. There are 12 handles on this Retmex, so you can easily balance with multiple responders.
What's the safe working load of the Retmex?

The safe working load of the Retmex Comfort is 250 kg. There is also a wider version available that can be loaded up to 385 kg. This is the Bariatric Retmex.
Why are the yellow strap on the lying side of the rescue sheet?

There’s always a chance that you need to use the Retmex by yourself if there’s no one around to assist you. If that’s the case, you will need to slide the victim instead of lifting. This can occur in critical emergencies. Therefore, we’ve decided to place the yellow straps on the lying side. If the straps would have been on the outside, this would have created an obstacle for sliding.

Can you give an example how you would use the Retmex?
