Evacuation Mats are now assembled by people with a distance to the labour market

Cooperation between Tetcon and Archipel ‘Work & Talent’

Archipel is a healthcare facility in the Southern part of The Netherlands. Evacuation mattresses from Tetcon hang inside several Archipel locations. You can recognise them by the green covers hanging on the wall. This kind of evacuation mattresses consist of all kinds of separate parts.

From now on, workers from the Work & Talent location will help assemble the equipment. Most of the workers are diagnosed with the Korsakoff syndrome. This syndrome primarely affects the memory system in the brain. The workers will now make sure the life-saving mattresses are partly assembled. This way, they are immediately ready to be sent to the customer.

The partnership shines a new light on the Leave No One Behind principle. Not only in the world of health and safety, but also in terms of social responsibility and that’s what it’s all about. It is therefore a logical step to start working together with the Work & Talent location. This gives people with a distance to the labour market a great opportunity to contribute to the production process.

And of course, Tetcon is also helped by the work done by these clients. So it’s a win-win for all parties!
