Head banging helmet

'Headbanging' with the head is a form of self-injury which is more common in forensic mental health and intellectual disability care. This safety helmet prevents head injuries. Thanks to the magnetic lock, the patient will not be able take off the helmet on its own. The universal helmet can be used for inmates, psychiatric patients, clients with borderline personality disorder, persons with autism and so on.

The magnetic lock ensures that the wearer cannot take off the helmet on their own. This is particularly relevant for patients who (unknowingly) injure themselves by banging their heads against objects. The safety lock works with a magnet, allowing you to put it on and take it off quickly.

Unlocking and securing the lock is incredibly simple. To unlock, just place the blue magnetic key on the top of the black button and remove the pin.

The lock features a pin, button, and blue magnetic key, all connected by a short cord to ensure they stay together, even in stressful situations.
