– You can save a lot of time during critical medical evacuations when the stretcher cannot be used (e.g., due to narrow stairs or narrow passages).

– The rescuers need less lifting during the transfer.

– Head blocks can be attached to the mattress.

– The body flaps give off a lot of heat which can prevent hypothermia in the patient.

– The inside is easy and quick to clean.

– A double-sided hand pump comes standard with this evacuation mattress. It is small in size.

– The evacuation mattress is not suitable when cervical stabilization is required. You will need to place a spine board or have a spine board in the mattress for this purpose.

– The load capacity is limited to 200 kg.

– Don’t forget to store the hand pump by default with the mattress; otherwise, you won’t be able to use the aid.

Reduce physical strain with the inflatable evacuation mat

Several studies have shown that back pain is a serious health issue for paramedics and first responders. Frequent lifting and carrying of patients results into high cumulative loads on the backs. These facts indicate that patient transport is the major cause for this problem. This ergonomic solution is the answer to that problem.

Air supply with a hand pump

The evacuation mattress is easily inflated with a hand pump. At the top of the mattress, you will find a valve for the air supply and a dial to deflate your mattress after use.

Includes footboard for extra stabilization

The footboard ensures that the patient lies extra stable on the mattress.

Cleaning

By hand:
The S-CAPEPLUS can be cleaned with a disinfection spray and wipe. Always allow it to dry after manual cleaning to prevent odours.

It is recommended to wear gloves during cleaning (household gloves or disposable gloves). Be careful when cleaning the hook and loop fasteners. Ensure that they still function properly after cleaning.

DO NOT USE HIGH PRESSURE WATER FOR CLEANING!

In the washing machine:

The cover of the S-CAPEPLUS can also be washed in the washing machine. Open the zipper at the head end and the hook and loop fastener strip at the foot end to remove the air mattress from the cover. Place the cover in a washing bag and please follow the washing instructions for the cover.

All S-CAPEPLUS Evacuation Mats come with a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and production, which is valid from the date of purchase. Improper use, improper maintenance, vandalism, product modifications or accidents are not covered by the warranty.
